WORSHIP

There is a power greater than ourselves, the Living God, the Creator of all things.  We want to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength.  Worship is an expression of this love.

Jesus said true worship is in spirit and truth.  Therefore, our worship is self-disclosing, expressing thoughts and feelings we are having.  It is our truthful place with God, somehow allowing us to say in public and in our own quiet place, "We love you."  In this honesty with God, we find ourselves able to be honest with others.  We are healed through worship.  We are nurtured through our relationships with God and each other.

Worship for us includes singing songs, expressing gratitude, giving, reading scripture, being still, and sharing the messages God gives us.  Our worship can be passionate and intuitive.  Expressive and demonstrative.  We enjoy freedom to be led of the Spirit.

Eternal Grace is a church that welcomes artists, supporting their creative journey without judgment.  Worship includes following our artistic passions.  Art is a ministry and ministry is an art.  The Holy Spirit is highly creative.  As the Spirit hovered over the waters in God's creation at the beginning, His Spirit hovers over us as we create today.  Thre is a symbiotic relationship between the Creator and creavity.  Growing in relationship to one can open us to more of the other.

Most of all, it is a daily decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God on a daily basis.  This is living worship.

Artists are spiritual leaders.  Our creativity comes from the Creator.  There is a symbiotic relationship between the two.  Art is a ministry and ministry is an art.  Our talents are a gift from God.  What we do with our talents is our gift back. 

Eternal Grace Church was birthed in the creative community of Los Angeles.  God's light reaches the stars.  Hollywood transformation catalyzes creativity.  The film, music, and art of Eternal Grace are expressions of worship.
